Quick Walkthrough

1. Talk to Gordol the Scrivener about jobs and Flavius Celto.
2. Find Flavius Celto on an island north of Idathren.
3. (Optional) Track down Flavius' killers.
4. Return to Gordol the Scrivener with the news.

Notes

• A Khajiit, Ja'Zinsi, can be found immediately west of Flavius' location, and can point you in the direction of Hlan Oek resident Menas Rivul if asked about the raided topic.
• Flavius' killer can be tracked down after the quest, but dealing with him will not result in extra reward from Gordol.

10		Gordol the Scrivener asked me to track down Flavius Celto, a Guild member who went to smuggle the Guild’s skooma down the Thirr River and has since gone missing. Gordol says Flavius sailed directly south along the Thirr.
20		On one of the isles, I found the corpse of Flavius Celto, along with a capsized boat.
100	Finishes quest	I told Gordol the Scrivener about the fate of Flavius Celto. He assumed the Camonna Tong was responsible for murdering Flavius and stealing the Guild’s skooma.
110	Finishes quest	I told Gordol the Scrivener about the fate of Flavius Celto. He assumed the Camonna Tong was responsible for murdering Flavius and stealing the Guild’s skooma. Gordol additionally thanked me for killing Menas Rivul, one of the thugs involved in the attack.
Find Flavius Celto (TR_m3_TG_AT_Q3_a)
10		Ja'Zinsi, a Khajiit fisherman I met on the coast, told me that Celto's boat had been raided by two Dunmer. According to Ja'Zinsi, the Dunmer stole a skooma crate and headed west towards Hlan Oek. He mentioned that Flavius Celto recognized one of the Dunmer and called him Menas Rivul.
20		In Hlan Oek, I was told that Menas Rivul can usually be found in the southeastern slums near the sewer entrance.
30		Menas Rivul attacked me when I asked him about Flavius Celto.
